There are thousands of footpaths along the Sorrentine Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, some are very famous such as Path of the Gods , the Valley of Mills, Sentiero Sirenuse, Punta Campanella... Going from the sea to the mountains or vice versa, there are always gorgeous views. You’ll walk through little villages, vineyards and olive groves, Mediterranean scrubs and woods, living rocks and chestnut woods, and you will enjoy some of the most splendid views of the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Naples. You will be fully absorbed by the serenity of the nature, faraway from the glitter of the fanciest towns along the coast.
There are itineraries of different length and difficulties, you have only to choose the most suitable for your legs 🙂
In this field I learned some secrets from the most outstanding hiking guide Giovanni Visetti, www.giovis.com. He has been very patient and helpful, a real teacher and friend. He decided to retire, but he is still a point of reference for me and my collegues.
Every walking tour includes a pick-up at your hotel!

Path of Gods
Path of the Gods, an ancient trail suspended between sky and sea, stretching for about 7 km (3.5 miles) above the famous Amalfi Coastline.
This path has several departure points, and it is manly stretching along the Peninsula of Sorrento. The itinerary is gradually ascending, and leaving the chestnut wood, you will come into the open and enjoy stunning views towards the Bay of Salerno, Praiano and the Sirenuse islands. These legendary islands, also known like Li Galli or the islands of Sirens, were held to be the bodies of the three Sirens: Ligea, Leucosia and Parthenope.
For beach scenery lovers the perfect walk on the Sorrento Peninsula is within the Natural Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella to reach the beach of Jeranto to enjoy a beautiful view of Punta Campanella and the Faraglioni of Capri.
Valle della Ferriere
The “Valle delle Ferriere” is a unique place in the world. It is easily reached on foot from Amalfi, with about an hour’s walk.
